"Trauma-Informed" refers to an approach that acknowledges the presence and impact of past trauma in a person's life and provides care in a way that is sensitive, supportive, and empowering. In the context of Tantra and intimacy coaching, being trauma-informed means understanding how trauma—whether emotional, physical, or sexual—can affect someone's ability to connect with their body, trust others, and feel safe in intimate situations.
As a trauma-informed coach, I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel comfortable and in control of your experience. This means recognizing signs of trauma, avoiding re-traumatization, and offering tools that support healing, self-awareness, and empowerment at your own pace.

Trauma can be any experience that overwhelms your body's ability to cope and process stress, leaving unresolved distress in the nervous system. This unprocessed energy can remain "stuck" in the body. Traumatic events can include experiences like abuse, sexual assault, severe eating disorders, the death of a loved one, violence, serious accidents, or surgeries. These experiences may be acute (sudden) or chronic (long-term).
There is also developmental trauma, which may not always seem obvious but accumulates gradually. These can include experiences like engaging in sex before you're fully aroused, having sex out of a sense of obligation rather than pleasure, religious indoctrination (especially when intense or controlling), a lack of emotional connection with loved ones, chronic body shame or dieting, financial stress, bullying, and more.
How a person responds to trauma depends on their sensitivity and capacity to process the distress at the time. Trauma may remain "frozen" in the body's tissues if it isn't fully released, leading to emotional or physical symptoms later on. Since everyone processes distress differently, what may be deeply traumatic for one person might have a different impact on another.
Understanding this is essential because both obvious and subtle traumas can accumulate in the body, manifesting as physical illness, discomfort, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, and other emotional or physical imbalances. Through somatic healing practices, we can help the body release these stored blockages, allowing for greater openness, peace, pleasure, and grounding.

My role as a coach is to actively listen, provide a safe and non-judgmental environment, offer reflections, and guide you back to your own inner power and wisdom. I believe that your body holds the answers you're seeking; sometimes, all you need is support and the right tools to reconnect with your voice and intuition. However, I am not a licensed therapist.
Therapy often focuses on exploring past wounds to heal, process, or diagnose trauma. While my work can also bring up deep emotional releases, especially when using somatic healing techniques (as trauma is stored in the body and nervous system), the focus of my coaching is different.
One key difference is the nature of boundaries in coaching versus traditional therapy. My training allows for more open sharing of my personal experiences and, in some cases, a more direct approach to intimacy when appropriate and with your consent. For clients who struggle with connection in their relationships, practicing connection exercises with a trusted professional can reduce anxiety and support confidence in building intimacy.
My sessions are trauma-informed, meaning that while we are focused on expanding pleasure consciousness, we hold space for any painful emotions that may arise. Coaching is most suitable for those who feel they have worked through their trauma to a point where they have the stability to process any emotions that surface during somatic healing or breathwork sessions. That said, somatic practices can work beautifully alongside traditional therapy, and I am happy to collaborate with other bodyworkers, practitioners, doctors, or therapists to support your healing.
In short, you don’t need to be in therapy to work with me, but if you experience emotions that feel overwhelming, I can help you find trauma therapists who can support your deeper healing.

Absolutely. Tantra is a deeply personal practice, and it's valuable to cultivate your own solo pleasure practice, regardless of your partner’s interest. By exploring Tantra on your own, you can deepen your connection with your body, understand your desires, and uncover any conditioning or beliefs around sexuality that may be holding you back. This self-awareness not only enhances your own pleasure and vitality but can also shift the energy in your relationship, potentially inspiring your partner to explore Tantra in their own time.
It’s important to remember that Tantra is about honoring consent and personal boundaries. I would never recommend trying to pressure or coerce your partner into something they're not ready for. True connection and intimacy are built on mutual respect and openness. By focusing on your own growth and pleasure, you create an authentic space that may naturally encourage your partner to become curious about Tantra—but their journey is their own.

My Tantric lineage is rooted in the Shangpa Kagyu tradition of Tibetan 5 Element Tantra. This ancient practice integrates the wisdom of the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and space—to cultivate balance, healing, and spiritual growth. For a deeper understanding of this lineage and its teachings, please visit the "What is Tantra" page, where you can find further explanations and additional resources.

There really isn't a "typical" session, as each one is uniquely tailored to your personal history, needs, intentions, and comfort level. Sessions can vary depending on whether it's an individual, couple, or group setting, and also on how many sessions we've booked together—the more time we have, the deeper we can go into the work.
To ensure that your experience is fully supportive and aligned with your goals, I offer a 30-minute consultation call where we can discuss your needs and desires. This way, we can create a session plan that feels just right for you.

While I generally work in longer-term containers, as the true rewards of this work come from its layering over time, I understand that some people may want to explore Tantra at their own pace. Lasting, transformative change happens through consistent practice, and slowly expanding the nervous system’s capacity for pleasure and sensation is essential for deep healing.
If you’re curious about Tantra, I highly recommend starting with one of my workshops or joining a small group container. These options provide a wonderful introduction and a more affordable way to experience Tantra firsthand.
I do occasionally offer private single sessions for individuals and couples. These sessions are usually longer than my typical sessions and provide a unique opportunity to introduce ritual and intention into your relationship with yourself or your partner, creating a meaningful experience.
Before booking any session, I invite you to have a free 30-minute discovery call with me. This call allows us to discuss your needs and desires, ensuring that we find the best approach for your journey together.

Thank you for asking this important question. I identify as a cisgender woman, and much of my experience centers around working with women and couples. However, I warmly welcome individuals of all gender identities to book a discovery call.
During our conversation, we can explore whether my offerings align with your needs and goals. If I feel that another coach in my network, with more experience or a shared perspective, could better support you, I’ll be happy to provide a referral. My priority is to ensure you receive the most compassionate and effective guidance on your journey.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m here to support you in any way I can.
